I photograph what catches my attention, especially the ordinary things we see every day but rarely stop to notice.

My Story

Looking closely.

Photography started for me with a simple habit of looking closely. I was always interested in old photographs, especially the little things happening around the main subject that people often overlooked.

When I eventually had access to a camera, I started photographing people and ordinary things around me. I did not know much about photography then, I simply enjoyed taking pictures and seeing how light, timing and perspective could change what I saw.

As I learned more, photography became less about taking a good picture and more about telling a story. That is still how I work today.

How We Remain
Series

How We Remain

Using the onion as a quiet portrait of human existence, this series looks at individuality, belonging, vulnerability and the unseen ways we hold one another together.

Before the Exchange
Series

Before the Exchange

A market is full of things waiting to change hands. This series pauses before that moment, looking at abundance, appetite, labour and the ordinary theatre of exchange.

The Anatomy of Evening
Series

The Anatomy of Evening

Evening is not one moment. It changes in stages. These photographs follow light as it hides, gathers, pauses and finally gives way to night.

The Order of Things
Series

The Order of Things

Lines, repetition and patterns are everywhere. This series looks at the quiet order between things, and the relationships we often pass without noticing.

A Language Without Words
Series

A Language Without Words

Some stories do not need words. They live in colour, petals, texture and the simple act of blooming. These photographs are about noticing that quiet beauty.

Individual Expression
Series

Individual Expression

No two people move through the world in exactly the same way. This series notices the small differences, gestures, choices and details through which personality quietly shows itself.

The Other Side of Light
Series

The Other Side of Light

We notice light because of what it lets us see, but light also creates shadows. This series looks at those shadows as another way of seeing what is already there.
